Greg Mucci, the newest member of PSC’s management team, was born, raised, and still resides in Stratford, Connecticut. Greg’s interests include dog training, most specifically training those animals that have been abused or neglected and need extra patience, understanding, and love. Greg is also a fitness enthusiast and excels in the martial art of Krav Maga. Greg finally has an awesome girlfriend, or fiancé... It is unclear to the rest of the team but they all hope Ann Marie sticks around.
Like Paul, Kevin, and Suzanne, Greg also graduated from Western Connecticut State University. Greg however also did some post graduate work at Sacred Heart University. Not wild about spending eight hours a day behind a desk, Greg began a career in turf management and disease and insect control shortly after finishing school. Intrigued by his new career and with a thirst for knowledge of the green industry, Greg continued to invest in himself and consistently enrolled in classes, courses and seminars during his off-seasons. Greg not only achieved the highest level of licensing by the State of Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, but pursued his real passion became accredited in organic land care through the Northeastern Organic Farming Association (NOFA).
After more than a decade gaining practical experience and educating himself, Greg was becoming frustrated with his employer’s cookie cutter approach and cavalier use of chemicals. Greg had the experience, education, passion, and work ethic to take the helm of his own turf care and tick control programs. Fortunately he and Paul had a mutual friend who made an introduction and it was clear almost instantly that Greg would be a great fit at PSC Landscaping. Greg took an ownership role in the company in 2012.
Greg is excited to contribute to the team and is enjoying performing the diverse services that the firm offers. Specifically, Greg enjoys installing cedar fences and performing light masonry work.
